To all the elitists out there who have no idea of the problems being faced by the average American, the same people who allow you the right to entertain us or represent our wishes in Washington, our states capitals or our local governments we say my opinion matters and you have no right to it. We should not give these folks the right to tell us how to think or live our lives when they for the most part have no understanding what the average American is going through.
Most of these folks have grown past the simple needs, fears and problems that the average person has to face on a daily basis. How will I put food on the table, can I afford my prescriptions or doctor visits, can I pay the mortgage this month and a myriad of other things that the elitists have left behind because their economic situations have made them moot points.
Like most human beings though they need to have things to justify their lives and existence so our elitist turn to things like the illegal migrants, climate, electric cars, windmills and plastic straws. I’m not saying that these aren’t real issues facing the country and the world but they can’t be placed in front of the basic needs of the people they serve and make a living off of. We need help, veterans are sleeping in the streets while illegal migrant gangs take over hotels and sections of several American cities. All while we provide free support and medical coverage for the migrants.
Again I have to point out that I’m not against immigration or people from other countries becoming US citizens (consider that in 1776 we were all mostly still immigrants), the key is they need to enter the country legally and proceed like my relatives did 4 or 5 generations ago on a path to citizenship. But the elitists who are insulated from the problems of illegal aliens would tell us that the US as a country owe these people a better life and we must give it to them. Sadly though, we only promise even our citizens a chance at a better life, one that they can make for themselves not handed to them or guaranteed.
Mortgage/rental rates, food prices, fuel prices, medical costs and many other basic costs have risen to a point where the weakest of us must make a choice between their meds, food or pay the mortgage/rent. Again the elitists hold rallies to support plans to fix the climate, plastic straws or many other problems that don’t help these folks just survive. The elitists have grown above these issues and can’t see the suffering of the folks who support them. They are either ignoring them or really just can’t see the problem while they take our money and misplaced hero worship.
These folks are all just human beings, often blessed with skills or talents that make the average person feel better when they apply these skills. In the long run though they are just human beings who have been blessed with a special ability. We shouldn’t be allowing them to shape our thoughts and opinions about what is important or of need to the average American. We the people have put them in that position to entertain or represent us but it in the end it is our decision to give them that right.
So next time one of these elitists threatens to leave the country if an election doesn’t go their way or a candidate isn’t representing their views start a go fund me and purchase them a ticket and ask them to leave their citizenship at the border on their way out. Save your love and devotion for your family and friends because the elitists have no respect for our needs. Vote for what means the most to you, what makes your life safer and more complete. I’m not saying to vote one way or the other but its your vote and don’t let the visions of others tell you how to vote.
